A parent sets up a mandate once, approving it in their own banking or UPI app, for an amount up to a limit they choose. After that, the fee is collected automatically on the due date each month, without the parent doing anything or the office sending a reminder. The parent can see every deduction in their UPI app and can cancel the mandate at any time — it is not a hidden auto-debit, it is something they set up and control.

The setup work is getting each parent to approve the mandate once, which needs a clear explanation since some parents will be cautious about auto-debit until they understand they control the limit and can cancel it. After that, collection should need close to no manual follow-up, and the register should update itself as payments come in, instead of someone typing them in.

- Can a parent see and cancel the mandate from their own banking app, without calling your office?
- Does payment status update the fee register automatically, or does someone still enter it by hand?
- What happens when a payment fails — does it retry, and does the office get notified?
