A waste management dashboard for 50 local bodies

The problem

Waste data sat in separate reports for rural and urban bodies. It was hard to see where waste went, which body was behind target, and whether field staff were in their assigned areas.

What we did

• Mapped both rural and urban hierarchies into one structure that follows Swachh Bharat reporting.
• Built the dashboard on real data for all 50 local bodies, with daily operations flowing through it.
• Service-level tracking compares each body against its own baseline and target.
• Worker GPS is checked against the area each worker is assigned to.
