The problem
The company sells machines that run in mills far away. Once a machine leaves the factory, it hears about it only when something breaks.
What we did
- Machines that report their own health, sold as yearly service contracts.
- Reordering spindle tape on WhatsApp, so the customer never runs out.
- Clip-on meters that prove the power saving of their energy-saving tape in the customer's own mill.
- A camera that checks quality before packing.
- A detailed study of a bobbin transport system at a mill: 8 trains and 1,600 bobbin positions, mapped from the controller up.
